Golf Nominations Now Open!

The Academy’s Golf Program will provide development opportunities for talented young athletes in the Western Sydney region. In partnership with Jack Newton Junior Golf, the program provides opportunities for athletes in the areas of technical skill, education and personal development, preparing athletes for the next level of elite sport representation.

The Golf Program will provide opportunities for athletes to receive technical (coaching) support and educational knowledge across key topics such as such as strength and conditioning, sports psychology, and nutrition for superior performance (among others) provided by the Academy.

Athletes will also receive personal development opportunities including media and corporate partner exposure, nominations for awards and Local Council events.

Athletes selected in the Golf Program will receive the following benefits:

• High quality coaching in individual and squad environments.
• Access to quality training facilities at Twin Creeks Golf & Country Club, the 19th Driving Range, and various courses.
• Insight into what it takes to become a professional golfer.
• Access to Academy XPS communication portal;
• Academy athlete uniform apparel.
• A foundation in the technical and educational knowledge required to progress to the elite levels of Golf.
• Opportunity to represent the Academy at various events, attend Academy events and competitions, and nominate for media and partner awards/scholarships
• Strength and Conditioning support
